Not direct here. I passed my 1st qualifier (2nd is a year from now) on Tuesday morning. We flew to Chicago Thursday afternoon.

In retrospect, probably not one of my best decisions. But yuki_onna won a Tiptree, and I think my family would gang up and kill me if we tried Wiscon less than a month before the wedding.
