yuki_onna describes, what "appears to be the MySpace for not-tards."
You can publish articles & fiction, and for doing so and networking, you get free stuff. Like B&N or Brookstone cards, and if you earn more than 3000 of their points per month, they'll pay you to write (should you choose to go that route).
In any case, some of my stuff (some republished from here, some not) can be found at lionsdaughter.gather.com
